Frequently asked questions before your journey
Here we have gathered answers to some of the most common questions before your journey.
Book your journey via our online booking system, which you can find at the top of this page or on the homepage.
In the booking system, search for Billund/Legoland Hotel or Billund/Lalandia as your destination.
Dates highlighted in yellow in the calendar show when services to Legoland are available.
Tickets purchased at Snälltåget.se can be changed if the booking is cancelled no later than 24 hours before departure. Refundable tickets are also available as an optional add-on.
Each passenger may bring two pieces of hand luggage, each with a maximum size of 55 × 45 × 25 cm, as well as one smaller personal item, such as a handbag.
To make your journey smoother, we recommend packing in smaller, soft bags rather than one large hard suitcase. Smaller bags are easier to carry on board and fit on the luggage rack or between seats. Larger suitcases can be more difficult to handle and may block aisles or emergency exits.
The connecting bus departs from the bus terminal at Kolding station, located approximately 200 metres north-east of the station building. View the stop in Kolding on Google Maps (opens in a new tab).
The bus stops at two locations in Billund:
- The bus stop outside Hotel Legoland, close to Legoland Castle Hotel and the entrance to Legoland. View the stop outside Hotel Legoland on Google Maps (opens in new tab).
- The bus stop at Lalandia, within walking distance of the holiday resort and water park. View the stop at Lalandia on Google Maps (opens in a new tab). Lalandia’s Service Centre is located at the main entrance. If you arrive after the Service Centre has closed, staff are available on site 24 hours a day, so it is always possible to check in even if you arrive late.
No, the bus between Kolding and Billund does not have a toilet, so we recommend using the toilet on the train before arriving in Kolding. The bus journey takes approximately 45 minutes.
All buses are equipped with seat belts.
Booster cushions or child seats are not available on board. In Denmark, there is no legal requirement for children to use child seats when travelling by bus. However, you are welcome to bring your own if you wish to use one during the journey.
